Unravelling life's knots, together.

Psychotherapy and counselling services

As a qualified, registered psychotherapist with a pluralistic approach to therapy, I draw from a range of psychological theories and therapeutic models – always adapting to suit you, not the other way around. I'm trained in person-centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and creative modalities, and I have experience working with both individuals and families, across a wide range of issues.

Below, you’ll find more about the ways we might work together.

Together, we’ll choose a way of working that feels right.

I offer therapy in a way that feels safe, flexible and collaborative – whether that’s sitting together in a room, walking outdoors, or working creatively. The shape of our sessions will depend on what you're comfortable with and what feels most helpful for you.

Individual therapy in person or online

For many people, one-to-one therapy offers a chance to slow down and be truly heard. Whether you're facing something specific – like anxiety, loss, trauma or low self-esteem – or just feel stuck, individual therapy gives you space to explore what’s going on. Sessions are led by you, at a pace that feels manageable.

Creative therapy with macramé

Some people find it easier to talk when there’s something to focus on – a rhythm for their hands, something to do side-by-side. In macramé-integrated therapy, we sit together, knotting cord by hand while we talk. It’s a calm, steady process that can help ease the intensity of conversation.

Walk-and-talk therapy

Some people find that walking side-by-side in nature makes it easier to talk. Walking therapy takes us out of the therapy room and into the woods, along the coast, or through green spaces – wherever feels right and accessible. Walking therapy can feel less intense and offer new perspective – physically and emotionally.

Supported family conversations

Sometimes the people we’re closest to are also where things feel most tangled. Family therapy creates a space where parents, carers, or young people can speak honestly – with support to help everyone feel heard. Whether you’re facing conflict, or simply need help to reconnect, I’ll work with you to create a safe, structured space for dialogue.

Counselling FAQs

How do I book an appointment?

Contact me and we'll arrange a time to talk over the phone where you can ask me any questions you might have. We'll use this time to establish if I'm the best therapist for you. We can then agree a time that suits you for our sessions to start.

How much does counselling cost?

I charge £50 per session and I also offer a 90 minute session for £65.  Family sessions are £75 per session and I allow 90 minutes for this as there are more voices to be heard.
